Who We Are
In their first season of play, the Coffee Flats Terrors unexpectedly took the
Fall 2005 Tournament trophy. The exciting rise through the finals for the 10th
seated team found all members playing or coaching at their highest levels. As
2005 shifted to 2006, the Terrors found themselves wanting more playing time.
Due to the bursting-at-the-seams roster size, the original Coffee Flats Terrors
split into two teams with a few Terrors forming If You Want My Bocce. Both
teams now view the other as mortal enemies for Saturday afternoon play.

With members hailing from that previously unnamed land at the bottom of Park
Slope, Prospect Heights and Cobble Hill (christened "Coffee Flats" years ago by
a good friend who couldn't get the smell of roasting coffee out of his nostrils
every morning), the Coffee Flats Terrors continue to don their red shirts for
the Spring 2006 season.

Chris (Cap'n Terror) shifts from captain's role to team regular. Due to his
eye for the right call, vigilant cheering and love of the apostrophe, he
retains his nickname.

Marc (Turkey Terror) slides into the captain's slot in an effort to balance
leadership and bourbon consumption.

Erik (Sweet Touch) can be found practicing twice weekly until 4am, at which
time he goes home for online blackjack.

Jamie (Mayor McTerror) was voted "Most Likely To Ignore Coach's Advice" during
the Fall 2005 run to the championship. He has learned that trying to flatten
the court is a fruitless endeavor.

Kaci (Chili Terror) disproves the myth there's no clutch rolling in bocce.
With precision play, she's a threat from either side of the court.

Alex (La Chima Terror) is the wildcard. Opponents never know what to expect
from his self-proclaimed "La Chima style" bocce.

Ezra (Principle Terror) Xenos knows, on principle, the throw that just missed
was a good idea. Often seen lugging his laptop to the bar, it's rumored he's
working on a top-secret computer application to track stats, scout teams and
provide can't miss "know how" to the rest of the Coffee Flats Terrors.
